Please see the official Event Descriptions for the B Division and C Division. Event Rules were released by the national organization on September 3, 2025. All 23 of the events for the B Division (Middle School) and C Division (High School) will be featured at the Oregon Science Olympiad State Tournament on March 14, 2026, University of Portland. We will not be running trial events.
At the State Tournament, students compete (usually with a partner) in any number of events. They can win individual medals and add to their team score. Our home state of Oregon is allowed to send one middle school team and one high school team to the National Science Olympiad Tournament.
